I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room, with a little balcony and a lovely view of the bay, was spacious and well-appointed, but I expected more from an Omni property. The service was exceptional, with professionals who seemed genuinely passionate about their roles, although there was a hiccup regarding an advertised feature. The location was ideal for exploring the shore restaurants and attractions, but I encountered some challenges with the parking situation. The dining was good, but the miscommunication about the complimentary breakfast was a letdown.
The hotel rooms looked like what I would get at any average hotel but had a great view of the bay. They were impressive with lovely little touches, making the stay comfortable despite some minor drawbacks. The service, although courteous and timely, fell short of expectations, especially considering its advertised excellence. The location in Corpus Christi Texas was good and easy to access, but the absence of breakfast was a disappointment compared to the usual standard of the OMNI chain. On the positive side, the facilities were adequate and provided the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The AC in the room was nice and could be adjusted to a very cool 60 degrees, but I felt that the cleanliness could have been better. Being near the elevator was convenient, though.
